May 21st is Modern Treasury's 8th birthday. We started MT in 2018 because moving money was (and honestly still is) way harder than it should be. Eight years later, we've processed $400B in volume, helped some of the most ambitious companies in fintech build their businesses, and more recently, brought stablecoins natively into the same platform alongside ACH, wire, RTP/FedNow, and push-to-card. A lot has changed. Banks have failed. Rates went up and came back down. Crypto had its cycles. The PSP landscape shifted. And through all of it, our core belief stayed the same: companies need an easy, reliable, and programmable layer to move money.
