Yesterday we closed out @Dreamforce day 1 with our CX Leaders Lounge at Harlan Records. Brian Donohue, our VP of Product, and Junan Pang, our SVP of Solutions, Deployment and Success, hosted the fireside chat on AI transformation in CX, alongside special guest Assaf Barnir, Head of Global Support at @Sentry. Two key takeaways from their discussion: 1. AI can already do more than most companies are set up to use. What slows teams down is that people have to change the way they work. And change is uncomfortable. 2. CX teams aren't shrinking, but their work is changing. Headcount is flattening, and jobs are getting harder and a lot more interesting. Assaf shared that when Sentry gave their frontline support to Fin, the team stopped playing defense and started shipping fixes in the codebase instead. Brian's top advice for navigating the transition was: whatever ceiling you think you've hit with AI, it's probably one you made up.
