NEW: Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan argues bitcoin could follow gold after the first U.S. gold ETF in 2004, when gold's market was about $2 trillion to $2.5 trillion and later reached about $30 trillion. STRATEGY BUYS 250 BITCOIN, REPURCHASES $192 MILLION IN STRC $MSTR acquires 250 $BTC for $21.5 million at an average price of $86,194 per bitcoin between October 5–11. The company also repurchased 1.93 million shares of $STRC for $192.4 million while selling $21 million worth of $MSTR shares. Strategy now holds 848,250 BTC, acquired for $64 billion at an average price of $75,444 per bitcoin, alongside $5.5 billion in USD assets.
