Gaming laptop upgrade🌺 time RTX 4090 worth the hype? Drop your rig recs! PCGaming
Going to try out Muse Glimmer on my RTX 4090. For what do you think it will be useful/useless?
RTX OWNERS ARE NOT HAPPY NVIDIA just changed the future of gaming graphics. DLSS 5 brings AI-powered neural rendering, but the biggest features are expected to focus on newer RTX 50 hardware - leaving many older GPU owners questioning their upgrades. - RTX 4090 owners paid thousands for a flagship card - RTX 30 and RTX 40 users may miss the biggest DLSS 5 breakthroughs - AI will help create game visuals instead of only improving them - Gamers are split between "the future of graphics" and "AI-generated visuals" I think AI rendering is where gaming is heading, but locking major upgrades behind new hardware will always frustrate the community. The AI graphics revolution is here - but not everyone is invited.

if you run a single 24gb gpu, a 3090, a 4090, a 7900 xtx, whatever gets you the 24 gigs, the no brainer pick is qwen 3.6 27b dense at q4. not close. i have run the tier. it fits in 24gb with real context room to spare, it keeps the reasoning smaller models lose, it pushes around 41 tok/s on a single 3090, and i watched it one shot a playable game start to finish, zero iterations. nothing else in that vram class does what this model does. undisputed king of the 24gb tier, and there is nothing you can say to change my mind.

NVIDIA’s RTX 5090 cracks MD5 password hashes at 220 GH/s and was tested on 231 million unique leaked passwords collected by Kaspersky from the dark web. >One card cracked 48% in under one minute >60% in less than one hour >77% in one year The speed gain over the RTX 4090 is small because most passwords follow weak patterns like common words with numbers or birth years. Cloud GPU rentals make this power cheap and easy to access, and the results show poor password habits and reuse across accounts are the biggest security risk. Strong unique passwords from a password manager, plus two-factor authentication and passkeys where possible, are the best protection.
