Agibot has produced its 20,000th humanoid robot🚀 The Expedition A3 Ultra rolled off the production line today and was delivered to Chimelong Group at its Spaceship Park in Hengqin, China. A3 Ultra features: • 700 TOPS compute • 360° perception • UWB + RTK positioning • Up to 20-DoF tactile dexterous hands It can handle delivery, carrying, organizing, and restocking tasks. The bigger story is the production ramp: 2023: 6 prototypes 2025: 5,000 units Mar 2026: 10,000 Jun 2026: 15,000 Sep 2026: 20,000 Agibot went from 10,000 to 20,000 units in ~6 months.

Agility Robotics unveiled a new humanoid that is designed to safely work in close proximity to people, a milestone for an industry that typically separates robots from human workers. CEO Peggy Johnson says the technology can also help address labor shortages by stepping into roles companies are struggling to fill

Agility is moving away from its ostrich-like, backward-bending knee design (essentially a high ankle joint) toward more human-like legs with its new-generation humanoid. Digit 5 has just been unveiled. - New cycloidal hip/knee actuators, 50 lb payload, 20-hour shifts, 10:1 run-to-charge (90-min battery, 9-min charge). - It stands 5'11" (1.81 m), weighs 284 lb (129 kg), and reaches up to 7.2 ft (up from Digit 4's 5.5 ft). - Agility claims $300M+ in multi-year customer orders for Digit 5. Early access deliveries start in H1 2027, and they'll also be expanding into the EU and UK. This lands as Agility is set to go public via a $2.5B SPAC merger with Michael Klein's Churchill Capital Corp XI (ticker AGLT), expected to close later in 2026 pending shareholder and SEC approval.
