BYU ATHLETICS ANNOUNCES OLYMPIC SPORTS JERSEY PATCH WITH BYU CONTINUING EDUCATION PROVO, Utah — BYU Athletics today announced a multi-year agreement with BYU Continuing Education, making it the official jersey patch sponsor for BYU Athletics' Olympic sports programs. As part of the agreement, the BYU Continuing Education logo will debut on the competition uniforms of six BYU Olympic sports beginning with the 2026-27 athletic season. The initial rollout includes baseball, cross country, soccer, softball, track and field, and volleyball. A second phase will expand the partnership to include golf, gymnastics, swimming and diving, and tennis. "We couldn’t be more excited about this sponsorship,” said Dr. Richard Houseman, dean of BYU Continuing Education. “Students are our primary focus, and this sponsorship allows us to support student-athletes, who compete at the highest levels both academically and in their respective sport.” BYU Continuing Education offers more than 650 online classes, 1,500 in-person classes and over 150 annual events each year. Its programs serve adults, teens and youth of all ages, supporting personal enrichment, professional development and academic achievement. Established in 1921, BYU Continuing Education has served lifelong learners around the world for more than a century. “We are grateful for BYU Continuing Education and appreciate this support for our Olympic sport programs,” said Brian Santiago, BYU director of athletics. “Our Olympic teams have been nationally relevant for many years, and we look forward to a promising future.” Link to Article: Photo Credit: @BYUphoto
