Shahadat Hossain, a 43-year-old Bangladeshi national with prior convictions for s*xual violence back home, had been stalking the mother and harassing the family in Rome. He then carried out a savage axe attack that ended the lives of the father, mother, and their young daughter. Their teenage son was severely beaten but survived and remains in critical condition.
