Last week, the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel dropped an opinion that should have been headline news from coast to coast. It said what every red-blooded American already knew in his gut: U.S. troops deployed to National Defense Areas at the border have the authority to make arrests. And here’s the kicker: it doesn’t violate the Posse Comitatus Act. It never did. Ok, cue the hysterics from the ACLU and the open-borders crowd and globalists.
