CORTEVA SETS OCT. 1 VYLOR SPINOFF Corteva will complete the separation of its seed and genetics business Vylor into an independent public company on Oct. 1. Shareholders of record as of Sept. 24 will receive 1 Vylor share for every 1 Corteva share held. Vylor will begin regular trading on the NYSE under ticker $VYLR on Oct. 1. The SEC has declared Vylor’s Form 10 registration effective, clearing the final regulatory step for the separation.

BLACKBERRY’S $BB QNX AND VECTOR WIN FIRST ALLOY KORE DESIGN WITH DAIMLER TRUCK-VOLVO SOFTWARE JV Coretura, the software-defined vehicle company founded by Daimler Truck and Volvo Group, selected Alloy Kore as the safety-certified software foundation for its next-generation commercial vehicle platform. Alloy Kore is jointly developed by Vector and BlackBerry’s QNX unit and is designed for high-performance vehicle computing, combining a real-time operating system with pre-integrated automotive software services. The deal marks the first design win for Alloy Kore since launch. Coretura plans to use the platform as a common software foundation for commercial vehicles, allowing manufacturers to focus more of their engineering resources on applications and features that can be updated over time.
