Fortnite now warns players that Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn can only be used in Teen (13+) rated experiences before you buy them. If you try to use them in Everyone or Everyone 10+ game modes, Fortnite will automatically replace them with a default outfit. "This item can only be used in experiences rated 12+ or above"

Fortnite players are calling for AI labels on skins after Epic Games shared a video showing how generative AI is used in its concept art process. According to the video, artists first come up with ideas themselves, then use internal AI tools to quickly create rough renders before repainting and refining the results by hand. Epic says artists remain in control and that AI is meant to speed up the process, not replace people. Players have accused Epic for months of using AI-generated artwork in Fortnite Chapter 7 claiming certain posters and sprays showed signs of AI-generated mistakes. Earlier this year, Fortnite senior external development manager Stephanie Arnette said Epic’s goal with AI is “to make us more efficient.”
