A small Japanese game maker called Mousou no Mayu cannot receive money from Steam for the all-ages version of their game Hustle Battle Card Gamers. The bank Daishi Hokuetsu Bank stopped payments from other countries after reviewing the anime-style pictures and claiming some characters look like children, even though the game has no adult content. The bank also warned it may block funds from Japanese sites like DLsite and FANZA but gave the game maker a short grace period, so the maker now plans to change banks.
