Saudi Arabia’s Humain is partnering with Applied Intuition to deploy self-driving trucks by 2030, as the kingdom’s leading AI firm looks to find practical uses for the technology that align with national priorities

$AMD, CISCO & HUMAIN LAUNCH LIVE AI INFRASTRUCTURE IN SAUDI ARABIA, TARGET 1 GW BY 2030 AMD, Cisco and PIF-owned HUMAIN have brought their first production AI infrastructure online in Saudi Arabia, while laying out a much larger expansion: • Current deployment uses AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs, EPYC CPUs and Cisco Silicon One networking, with HUMAIN already offering the capacity to customers as GPU-as-a-service. • The next phase will deploy up to 250 MW of AI infrastructure using AMD’s next-gen MI400 Series GPUs, EPYC CPUs and ROCm, alongside Cisco networking. • Deployment of that 250 MW phase is expected to begin in 2027, with capacity starting to come online in the second half of the year. • The AMD-Cisco-HUMAIN JV says it remains on track to scale to as much as 1 GW of AI infrastructure by 2030, citing strong customer demand. • Cisco is supplying its N9000 platform, Silicon One networking and 800G optics to connect the GPU clusters.

MISTRAL, HUMAIN STRIKE HUNDREDS-OF-MILLIONS AI PARTNERSHIP Mistral and Saudi Arabia’s HUMAIN are launching a strategic AI collaboration worth hundreds of millions of euros, spanning infrastructure, model development and deployment. The companies plan to build and localize advanced AI models, including frontier models optimized for Arabic, with early focus areas in cybersecurity and voice. Mistral will also explore using HUMAIN’s Saudi data-center infrastructure, while both companies develop AI offerings for regulated industries including finance, telecom, manufacturing and the public sector.
