Hogwarts Legacy 2 is officially happening and could get multiplayer. Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed that a second Hogwarts Legacy game is part of its upcoming lineup. At the same time, Avalanche Software, the studio behind the first game, is hiring people to work on a new online multiplayer RPG. The job listings mention things like matchmaking, online multiplayer, player data and activities that can be played by different numbers of players. Multiplayer has NOT been confirmed for Hogwarts Legacy 2, the online RPG could be a completely separate Wizarding World game.

Leaker Predicts Hogwarts Legacy 2 in Next PlayStation State of Play A gaming leaker named Tidux posted today that Hogwarts Legacy 2 may appear in the next PlayStation State of Play. “SOP- HL2 Soon.” This rumor fits recent news since Avalanche Software hired a new Community Manager in April, just like before the first game’s State of Play reveal. Hogwarts Legacy 2 is in active development and a major priority for Warner Bros. while Sony is expected to hold the next State of Play in the coming weeks in May or early June.
