Over the last few years, TRM has tracked the growing sophistication of North Korea's IT worker operations — and this latest investigation makes clear how far they’ve come. In a new piece for Indicator — which includes insights from TRM — Craig Silverman went inside a DPRK-linked operation that recruited unwitting freelancers in the Philippines, Nigeria, and Colombia to conduct real Zoom interviews, complete with live coding exercises that quietly exfiltrated passwords and crypto wallets the moment a candidate engaged. Yo! Clawa is up to date on Pi 0.87.1 and got a proper deslopification pass. This is the final release before I switch it over to sub clawas as herdr/tmux panes instead of subprocesses. So if you like it that way, fork it before it disappears ;P - System prompts: Clawa uses Pi's native builder instead of maintaining its own copy. - Memory: the memory pass runs before a successful run finishes. Cancelled and failed runs no longer trigger it. - Worker shutdown: Clawa stops running workers without waiting for new workers to finish starting. Late starters get stopped too. - Pulse: stale sessions stop sending notifications. - First run: template setup keeps your existing files, even inside nested folders. Dead debug code and obsolete workarounds are gone too. With Pi 0.87.1 or newer, run this inside an empty folder for your Clawa home: pi install --local git: Happy Clanking! - Howaclawa

Every job posting now gets 1,000+ applicants. Most aren’t real candidates. There are already documented cases of coordinated fake applicants (e.g., North Korean IT worker schemes) using stolen identities, AI generated profiles, and remote setups to get hired. With @VeryAI, you can: → Verify identities at application → Filter spam at the top of funnel → Focus on candidates that are actually real Hiring needs a human layer again.
