Identical twins Muneeb and Sohaib Akhter deleted 96 government databases including Department of Homeland Security data, within one hour after being fired from a software company that serves 45 U.S. federal agencies. Using retained administrator credentials, they also downloaded 1,805 EEOC files and records on 450 individuals, while one twin used an AI tool to erase activity logs afterward. The brothers had prior fraud convictions. They were arrested later with firearms found during home raids.
