It seems he has forgotten the oath associated with that uniform. He has squandered the trust the youth placed in him; his statements make this evident. He voiced his opinions—specifically expressing communal views—on such a religious platform. When a police officer shares a platform associated with a particular religion and makes such remarks—especially incorrect ones—it violates the core principles for which the police force is known. His views were not grounded in truth; by appearing on that platform, Vishwas Nangare Patil has completely lost the trust he had earned and has tarnished his reputation. He has personally compromised his own name and stature."
