Officer Austin Zade Abdelnabi was laid to rest Saturday in Greer, South Carolina, surrounded by family, friends, fellow Marines, law enforcement officers, and a community that came together to honor his life and sacrifice. The support shown to the Abdelnabi family and the LVMPD family throughout this difficult journey has been extraordinary. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, the North Carolina Troopers Association Caisson Unit, the many law enforcement agencies, organizations, businesses, and South Carolina community partners who helped make Officer Abdelnabi’s funeral possible.
