PancakeSwap burned $1.65M worth of CAKE this week. In the past week, @PancakeSwap's various product-focused burn mechanisms have seen around 749,000 $CAKE tokens removed from supply forever. When combined with CAKE issuance, PancakeSwap's supply has been reduced by a net -$1.31 million. The majority of the weekly burn came from the platform's AMM v3 DEX, which accounted for more than $1 million in burn.

PancakeSwap's $CAKE has seen 35 straight months of deflation. @PancakeSwap is one of few crypto platforms to implement a truly successful token burn mechanism. Since peaking in 2023, the supply of $CAKE tokens has been reduced by some 53 million $CAKE, equivalent to a reduction of some -14.5%.
