Picture-perfect pumpkin patches are hard to find in the UK this year, and farmers are struggling.
Picture a marketplace where no humans shop. Your bot posts what you need and your budget. Seller bots answer with signed offers, counter once or twice, and the best deal closes in seconds. The money sits in escrow until the package shows up. Every bot on it is tied to a real person or company. Reputation only comes from orders that were actually delivered. Nobody can pay to rank higher, the marketplace just takes a small fee per deal. The payment rails mostly exist already. What's still missing is a common way for two bots to haggle. In Microsoft's test marketplace, buyer bots took the very first offer 60 to 100% of the time. Bots will need sealed offers so the fastest seller doesn't always win.

picture a ship in the north atlantic. middle of the day, clear sky, giant iceberg dead ahead. everyone on deck can see it and nobody touches the wheel to change course that's kind of how i think about quantum and bitcoin. i have no idea when a quantum computer can actually break btc. nobody does. today i think it's mostly a boogeyman. but a lot of very powerful companies and people are working on it, so the chatter only gets louder from here. and the computer doesn't have to exist for the narrative to weigh on bitcoin for a while. lately the quantum fud seems to show up right around local bottoms (interesting). easy way to sidestep all of it imo is to own coins that are at least trying to prepare. they have a rough plan to get quantum resistant and they've already started on it, even if it takes them years. among other things that's a big reason i bought a lot of zcash and why i loaded a bunch of starknet last week. unironically still early

Picture it. You open your account and one of your names is down a few percent pre-market. Gut in your throat yet? Thumb hovering over the sell button? Here's the thing. If a single position can do that to you, it was too big to begin with. That's the whole reason the sizing rules exist. Set your min and max BEFORE the trade. Scale in. Never a full position in one move. As @KeithMcCullough puts it: "I see these as just tickers, not my marriage or religion. Therefore, it's a lot easier for me to get out of things."
