Co-working is overpowered. If you have stuff you want to do that you're not doing, find a friend who also has work to do and co-work on a video call or in person. You can do pomodoros, or not, as you prefer. The real trick is just making it social. Much more motivating and fun!

Truly epic AI weekend workflow ⬇️ Requires: phone, headphones, ChatGPT mobile app, OpenAI paid subscription, auto mode, somewhat aggressive permissions - set up codex remote - fully charge your phone - plug EarPods (yes) into phone - put on sunscreen - go on a walk - open ChatGPT mobile app - click remote on left hand side - click new chat - click audio waveform - ask codex to set up a sticky note on your Mac for you where it will store tasks and notes for you - ask codex to go through every single email that is important (“need you to find normal emails or client emails or contracts or invoices or urgent bug reports, but you can skip newsletters or news”) - for every email, triage as needed (“oh you can ignore that one” “delete it” “can you archive that one?” “Star that!” “Draft a reply that says I’ll be there on Tuesday night and ask if I should bring wine”) - for any email that requires action beyond a draft (like paying an invoice), have codex add it to your sticky note to-do list - triage all email - move onto ANY other triage (notion, slack, anything) - ask it to review your day ahead, week ahead, month ahead against your goals - I am frequently firing off multiple tasks - come back to your desk, exercised and happy, review your to do list and the drafts - can even open live voice mode and say “we’re going through the tasks on my sticky note, keep me motivated and help me as needed” or even “build me a quick pomodoro app and then let’s go through the list together” Warning: some annoying parts + I have flagged relevant ones to the codex team: 1) your phone will heat up 2) you can’t open your camera 3) voice stops after 90min 4) if it says something like “checking” and then goes silent, assume that there is a pop up asking you for permission. Review, and if you’re ok with it, click allow or always allow. The app should 100% tell you it’s blocked but it doesn’t. 5) conversation discovery is hard, but if you just open a new thread on mobile and talk again and say “hey let’s pick up where we left off” then it has it all
