QatarEnergy’s Ras Laffan Industrial City to the north of Doha, Qatar's main site for the production of liquefied natural gas and gas-to-liquid, as well as the largest export terminal for LNG in the world, has been heavily targeted tonight by ballistic missiles fired by Iran. Extensive damage to the site and several facilities are being reported by QatarEnergy.
Explosion at a factory in Qatar's Ras Laffan
🔹The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced that the explosion occurred inside one of the factories in the Ras Laffan area.
🔹Qatari officials emphasized that there were no human casualties in the incident.
A helicopter belonging to Saudi oil giant Aramco crashed in Ras Tanura on Saudi Arabia’s eastern coast west of the Strait of Hormuz, killing 14 nationals, the state news agency reported, adding that the cause was unknown.

A Saudi Aramco helicopter crashed at approximately 6:00 AM today in Ras Tanura, the kingdom's main oil export hub in the Eastern Province, killing all 14 people on board.
An investigation is underway in coordination with the relevant authorities.
