Valve has updated Steam’s store tags, adding 17 new ones and removing 28 others to improve game recommendations and reduce overlap. >New tags include Bullet Heaven, Wuxia, Xianxia, Organizing, Cleaning, Decorating, Capybaras, Wolves, Zoo, Samurai, Poker, and Language Learning. >Removed tags include RPGMaker, NSFW, Mature, Blood, Drama, Cult Classic, LEGO, Warhammer 40K, and several others like America and Documentary. Some tags were merged or renamed, such as Clicker becoming Incremental.

RPG Maker’s official forums will shut down permanently on December 11, 2026. When that happens, more than 14 years of community content will be deleted, including tutorials, guides, screenshots, images, attachments, and countless discussions that have helped RPG Maker users for years. No official archive or backup has been announced. For many developers, the forums have been an important source of knowledge. Some of this information cannot be found anywhere else. Many images and files are hosted directly on the forums and could be lost forever once the site goes offline.
