King Sultan Ibrahim postponed a second royal pardon bid by jailed former PM Najib Razak, whose 1Malaysia Development Berhad corruption case still hangs over Kuala Lumpur. Najib has been in prison since 2022. A 2024 clemency cut his original 12-year term. He faces another 15-year sentence now on appeal.
