Steven Spielberg says the success of low-budget films including ‘Obsession,’ which had a budget of under $1 million — shows cinema is thriving. "I'm so happy for them. I think it's so fantastic."
Christopher Nolan added, "Ever since the 1950s... there's been this tendency to always proclaim the death of movies."
Spielberg continued, "I think it's great that they had basically very little money, especially Obsession had under $1 million, and the other film (Backrooms) had maybe 10 or nine, and they're doing so well, and I just applaud them."
