Officer Trainees of Indian Foreign Service called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President said that they represent not only the Government of India, but 1.4 billion Indians and their hopes and aspirations. She said that India’s engagement with the world should always align with the interests of our country: Rashtrahit Sarvopari. She urged the young diplomats to ensure that Indian Missions always remain accessible and available for our nationals in times of need.
Officer Trainees of Indian Information Service and Indian Statistical Service called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President said that the world of technology, media, economics and public policy is changing rapidly. She advised officers to be judicious in their decisions, compassionate in their conduct and unwavering in upholding integrity.
The President underlined that the authority entrusted to them carries with it a profound responsibility to serve the people with fairness, humility and dedication.
