VEON's subsidiary Jazz, Pakistan's leading connectivity provider under JazzWorld, has become the first operator in the country to reach 1,000 live 5G sites, the fastest 5G rollout in Pakistan and the largest 5G network footprint in the market. The milestone spans 10 cities and builds directly on the 190 MHz of spectrum Jazz secured in Pakistan's 2026 auction, the largest allocation of any operator in that auction. "Reaching 1,000 5G sites at this pace reflects our determination to bring the benefits of 5G to more Pakistanis, faster," said Kazim Mujtaba, President, Jazz GSM. "As we aim to scale to 2,500 5G sites by the end of the year, our focus is on delivering a better digital experience through greater capacity, faster speeds and more reliable connectivity, while enabling new services and use cases as 5G adoption grows."
