𝕏 keeps growing 𝕏 recorded 13.43 BILLION website visits in Q3 2026, up from 12.67 billion in Q2, per Similarweb • 13.43B total visits • +6% quarter-over-quarter growth • +760M additional visits in a single quarter 𝕏 continues to grow as it evolves into much more than a social platform, with SI, payments, creators, video and real-time news all coming together in one ecosystem

𝕏 Calls is now LIVE on the web, bringing an entirely new level of communication and collaboration to 𝕏 You can now host and schedule video meetings just like you would with Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, and invite people through a simple meeting link 𝕏 Calls brings video meetings, a dedicated calendar, shareable links and powerful collaboration tools directly into the 𝕏 ecosystem Here's what you can do: • Start instant video calls with individuals or groups • Schedule meetings for any date and time • Generate meeting links or codes and share them with others • Connect your other calendars • Share your screen during meetings • Use collaborative tools, reactions and in-call chat • Manage participants and meeting access You can organize an entire meeting, invite people and collaborate in real time, all within the 𝕏 ecosystem And the best part is how simple it is. Just create a call, share the link and bring everyone together 𝕏 is evolving into something much bigger than a social media platform Messaging, video calls, scheduled meetings, collaboration and social networking are all coming together into one connected communication ecosystem Try it:

𝕏 really needs a dedicated feature for discovering videos. Sometimes I just want to browse the latest SI videos, but there's no obvious way to do that. I'd love to have a video feed that I can filter by topic, rather than relying on whatever the algorithm puts in front of me. Am I missing something? 🤔

X 🇸🇩 | Classes have resumed at the heart of the University of Khartoum, more than three years after war shut it down. The Faculty of Science resumed in-person classes on Sunday, October 11. On the first day back, students crowded outside the Faculty of Arts and returned to lecture halls. A short walk away, burned-out buildings and classrooms full of debris still bear the marks of the fighting. “The university’s return is not merely a return to life, but proof that war cannot break pens, and that bullets will not end an idea,” said science student Nasser Mustafa Hussein. He added that the administration should have taken more time to prepare facilities and dormitories, especially for students traveling from other states. Much of the work to reopen the faculty was done by students themselves. Suhail Saleh, who leads a student initiative rebuilding the Faculty of Science, said volunteers cleaned the faculty and repainted its benches, and that this was the main reason classes could resume. The initiative has received no support from any organization since it began, Saleh said. Its plans for landscaping and new lighting have now stalled for lack of funding. Chemistry student Sheika Khalid said around 80% of students in her department attended the first day back. Sudan’s war erupted in April 2023 between the army and the UAE-backed Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Khartoum became a front line until the army announced it had retaken the capital in March 2025. Nearly 14 million people have been displaced inside and outside the country, according to UN figures. The war has also devastated the education system, forcing the University of Khartoum to hold exams and classes away from its main campus for years.
