Both companies have spent years figuring out how to manufacture cars at scale. XPeng held an opening ceremony yesterday for the world's first X-Energy Megawatt Flash Charging Station, the EV startup said on Weibo. Jointly built with Halo, the station has been operating in Hong Kong since Sept. 15 and is the city's first public megawatt charging station, open to all EV brands. The XPeng X9 topped Hong Kong's pure electric luxury MPV sales in July and August. The company plans to deploy about 10,000 ultra-fast charging piles in key overseas markets over the next three years, Vice Chairman and President Brian Gu said at the event.@XPENG_Global
