Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Faye/Laufey in God of War: Laufey, says the online backlash surrounding the game’s female lead doesn’t bother her. While speaking to a fan at Florida Supercon, Woll admitted she expected the criticism to affect her more, but she has stayed largely untouched by it because she isn’t on social media. “I thought I was going to be much more affected by it… I’m not on social media, so that helps. And two, I feel totally unbothered because I just know it’s great. It’s okay if it’s not your cup of tea, but in no universe is it bad.”

Deborah Hinton, a former magistrate, thinks removal of juries is a step towards authoritarianism. "How they decide before the case has even got to the courts who's going to be getting a sentence of less than three years - your guess is as good as mine."
