Infinity Ward has clarified that Gunny, the new Gunsmith feature in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, is not powered by artificial intelligence. According to the studio, everything behind the feature was handcrafted by the developers. Rather than using AI, Gunny recommends weapon loadouts based on the attachments you've already unlocked and lets you quickly switch or update your build between matches. The clarification comes after many players described Gunny as an "AI chatbot for your loadout" when the feature was first revealed.
