Starlink is seeking a MUCH bigger role in the Philippines 🇵🇭 Starlink Internet Services Philippines has filed with the NTC to operate in two additional parts of the country’s data-transmission infrastructure: • Core / Backbone Network Provider • International Gateway Facility Provider Starlink is already registered as an internet-access provider in the Philippines If these new applications are approved, Starlink would move much deeper into the network itself.....helping carry traffic across backbone infrastructure and international connections The applications were filed under the Konektadong Pinoy framework, which opened the Philippine data-transmission market to more competition SpaceX is positioning Starlink to become huge part of the underlying infrastructure connecting the Philippines internally.....and to the rest of the world
