Lighter's real bull case is stocks + perps inside Robinhood as a result of partnering with Robinhood. “They confirmed Lighter is their official perps partner, integrated directly into the Robinhood wallet. They talked about stock tokens available in 120 jurisdictions. They added: ‘We will be deepening our collaboration with Lighter over time.’ Longer term, the best case is trading stock tokens and stock perps directly in Robinhood. That creates the first fully internal spot-and-perp basis trade for single-name stocks. This adds capital efficiency and liquidity. The Lighter Liquidity Provider (LLP) now holds spot inventory. This allows LLP to deepen spot liquidity while running basis trades across spot and perps, giving it more flexibility to deploy inventory efficiently. We’ve started with ETH, with more assets coming soon! 🕯️

The LIGHTER, BCH and XMR perpetual markets are being delisted. On July 15, each market enters delisting pricing, with LIGHTER beginning at 11:00 UTC, BCH at 12:00 UTC and XMR at 13:00 UTC. The mark price converges to a 1-hour time-weighted average of the oracle price, settling shortly thereafter. Trading then halts and open positions settle at the final mark. If desired, close or adjust positions before then.
