MagicBot X1 is back with new dance moves. It’s already shown off fencing and a basketball dunk. It’s roughly Unitree H2-sized: 1.8 m (5 ft 11 in), 70 kg (154 lb), with 31 active degrees of freedom, including seven in each arm and three at the waist. It uses an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module, with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor available as an option. Its sensor suite includes stereo cameras, head and waist RGB-D cameras, and optional LiDAR. It also has dual hot-swappable batteries. It’s taller than EngineAI’s T800 and looks more agile to me. If it steps into robot combat, we could have another heavyweight contender.
