NEWS: Tesla has now delivered over 15,000 vehicles in Malaysia, Tesla Malaysia announced today (Source: Tesla Malaysia on X, June 30, 2026). That is less than 3 years after Tesla officially launched in Malaysia on July 20, 2023. Tesla reached its 10,000th Malaysia delivery in September 2025. The next 5,000 deliveries took just 9 months. Tesla's previous pace was about 5,000 deliveries per year. The recent pace works out to roughly 5,000 every 9 months. The growth is accelerating. Tesla operates 76 Supercharger stalls across 18 locations in Malaysia. That is above the government's mandated target of 50 Superchargers. The Model Y is Tesla's top-selling vehicle in Malaysia. The lineup also includes the Model 3 Highland. BYD held the lead in Malaysia's EV market as of late 2025 with about 25,000 registrations. Tesla is climbing fast.
