My jaw literally dropped watching this A women’s shelter opened up on the Upper West Side of New York City next to a kids playground Now residents are horrified because the women are being seen naked talking to little kids (photo proof) and they’re also doing drugs, getting into fights, leaving drug paraphernalia. The parents are having to call 911 “Residents sent us photos and videos they say capturing issues, from naked women talking to children, to fights and cussing in the streets, to bottles and marijuana cartridges in the nearby park — concerned neighbors say the block never looked like this before” We have to stop catering to the worst of society. Why are we putting up with this and worse, paying for it. These people should be in jail not being paid for in shelters The nonprofit that runs the shelters gets over $100 million per year from taxpayers and this is what they allow…. Insane The organization holds a $500 million 4 year contract with the NYC Department of Homeless Services for a 200-bed women’s shelter We are being robbed blind
