Palworld publishing lead John Buckley says people read too much into Steam player counts, “Poor Marathon”. Buckley says daily active users would give a much better idea of how many actual people are playing, a game with 1,000 CCU could still have 20,000 different players in a day. “Poor Marathon and stuff are getting dragged through the mud with this right now, and I’m sure our day’s coming a few weeks from now.”
