WWE top champion Cody Rhodes received a cease and desist letter from Nintendo over the Triforce symbol from The Legend of Zelda on his wrestling boots. He added the symbol in the late 2000s because it stands for power, courage, and wisdom, which fit his life in wrestling. On his podcast Rhodes explained that Nintendo’s letter was polite and non-confrontational, requesting removal of the trademarked symbol He complied by changing his boots but kept his personal Triforce tattoo.
