S-Game, the studio behind Phantom Blade: Zero, says it isn’t worried about releasing the game close to Grand Theft Auto VI.
CEO and game director Soulframe Liang said the team doesn’t focus on other games and cares more about making sure Phantom Blade: Zero is finished and polished.
“We don’t even think of the competition; what matters is how polished the game is,” Liang said.
He explained that release plans are based mainly on the game’s development. If the team needs more time to fix bugs and improve performance, the studio would rather delay than rush it out just to avoid competing with another big release.
