Successful investors who win cycles are not the ones who chase everything. They identify the right stocks, concentrate capital, and size up with discipline. 1. Learn to find those stocks with both fundamental study and technical analysis. Use a small set of reliable indicators for price action, momentum, and institutional flow. Whales and institutions move a stock. Retail does not. 2. Concentrate on a few bullish names which echo with the narratives of each bull cycle only, whether your account is small or large. A diversified book thins out profits. Not everyone has the time or energy to track too many names well. 3. Size up. Sizing determines your final gains—not any guru or indicator. Simplicity is the key. Concentration beats everything. By using this process, I have picked the right stocks, sized them with conviction, and shared them with my community through each phase of the cycle. I chart those names every day, without a single session missed, because I sincerely want my community to stay aligned with the names that matter. A few days ago, I shared the stocks I am bullish on this cycle. Look closer and pick from that list. I have done my part every day. Now it is your turn. Do the homework. Build conviction. Concentrate. Size it. Let the winners pay you.

Success can look like cockiness to people who haven’t achieved what you’re trying to achieve. I’ve learned that firsthand. And my confidence in myself is stronger today than it has ever been. And to some people, that confidence will sound cocky. I get it. But anyone who has ever built something, did something early, or taken a real risk knows this… You need an almost unreasonable amount of belief before the rest of the world sees what you see. You have to be willing to say, “I think everyone is looking at this wrong,” and then live with the possibility that you could be the one who’s wrong. You see, it’s easy to criticize somebody else’s conviction from the sidelines. It’s MUCH harder to put your reputation, your $ money, and years of your life behind a belief. That’s what I’ve done with Teslaconomics. I’ve spent years explaining why I believe Tesla is much bigger than a car company and why betting against Elon and Tesla will end very badly. And now I’m watching pieces of that thesis move from slides and promises into the real world. And there’s a big difference between arrogance and confidence. Arrogance is thinking you’re better than everyone else. Confidence is doing the homework, seeing something you believe others are missing, putting your own skin in the game, and being willing to stand there while people laugh at you. To normal people, this often is perceived as a mix. Most big ideas sound ridiculous early. Then they sound possible. Then one day everyone acts like it was obvious. Then everyone acts like they’ve been on your side all along. So if I sound confident when I talk about Tesla, Cybercab, Robotaxi, or where I think this company is going… I guess that’s good. I’ve spent years building that conviction. I did my homework. Now I want to prove why the doubters and shorts were always wrong... again.

“Success has many fathers, but failure is an orphan.” I never realized the gravity of this quote till I saw extremely successful VCs fight for attribution of the hot deals. And you realize this viscerally because the large exits (or markups) are genuinely rare and those are the ones you raise the next fund on (your own or part of the firm). This is why in the next couple of years you’ll see many names scrubbed (or conveniently omitted) and everyone wanting to revise history to claim some credit for the ones that eventually succeed. So many emerging GPs are facing this explicitly as the only thing they can take to their future LPs is their track record. And it’s been sad to see them not get the credit they actually deserve. As @AnjneyMidha said, eventually the new guard will shine as they will figure a way out. But in the short term, hold your founders close since they’ll be the real reference checks! (this is genuinely NOT a subtweet at any firm, just what I have been noticing across the market as I’m helping emerging managers)

Success isn't built in the spotlight. 🎥 It's built in the early mornings, late nights and the quiet moments when it's just you and your goals. Show up. Stay disciplined. Keep going. 🔥 Do you agree?

Success tends to move away from those who try to capture it and toward those who try to help others achieve it.
