Brave is adding stronger protection against a type of online tracking called browser fingerprinting.
The update focuses on WebGL and WebGPU, technologies that websites use for things like 3D graphics, games and other demanding visuals.
The problem is that they can also reveal details about your device, including its graphics hardware and capabilities.
Websites can combine this information with other data to create a unique “fingerprint” that can be used to recognize your device.
Brave is changing how this information is shared, making it harder for websites to create a reliable fingerprint
Chrome 153 is now in beta!
Try out new CSS scroll container options, Rust-based XML parsing, declarative camera and microphone HTML elements, and the new WebGPU buffer_view feature.
We built to ship shaders on Now it's open source.
▪︎ Minimal agent-first WebGPU library
▪︎ Run in the browser or headless Node.js
▪︎ Render in CPU sandboxes and CI tests
▪︎ Create reusable .wgsl modules
Qwen3.8-27B matches GPT-5.6 Luna
Just watched a 27B open model run entirely in the browser generating interactive 3D voxel worlds in real time and it locally via WebGPU.
It's official: Qwen3.8-27B just scored 52 on the @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index.
We now have an open-weight model that matches GPT-5.6 Luna (max) AND can run locally... even in your browser with custom WebGPU kernels!
What a time to be alive! 🤯
