Just pulled the day of month data on @crediblefin August first 9 days volume is already at $36.9M, which is 14ร— Julyโ€™s first 9D and 6.4x the first 9D of May, June and July combined ($5.78M) Lifetime cumulative is already at $991M so $1B is just one settlement away. This is a strong crossborder payments business printing actual revenue at ~20bps. August seems to be accelerating before the normal big settlement window and while the China corridor is still offline. All of this at ~$13.5M mcap. $CRED looks undervalued to me. h/t to @artemis for the data

Threadguy explains why his gut says on-chain mania is starting right now and the timeline is wrong "My gut says we have a seriously real chance for mania to happen on-chain and it's starting now. The same spidey feeling that told me 8 months ago that we should openly FUD the living shit out of meme coins, and was pretty right about it, is telling me that things are optimistic right now and it's worth chasing some stuff because the risk reward is great." "The timeline is saying you absolute imbecile, how could you possibly think that this god forsaken place could ever have excitement again. But I think I lose money when I listen to the timeline. And most of the people that are really vocally bearish are only trading stocks now. They're only trading stocks."

[some takes only hit different after the market proves them right] been going back through Ansemโ€™s old streams, interviews & Market Bubble episodes and found a lot of takes that were way ahead of where the market was at the time that got me thinking: instead of chasing every new narrative on the tl, why not dig through the archive and bring back the ideas that actually aged well? > find the thesis > clip the moment > add the context then see how it played out bc a good clip gives you a quote a great clip shows you the thesis, the timing, and what happened after thatโ€™s the direction i wanna take with his content old takes, new context let the market do the validating w/ @blknoiz06 ๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ€„๏ธ

irony is everything about todayโ€™s crypto landscape is more transparent than the past thatโ€™s what old heads are most upset about: -bonding curve launch vs. private round -every txn onchain vs. dumping on CEX -opportunities appear randomly vs. pre-planned launches after years of larping there isnโ€™t a chance in the world they could make money in public so they resort to saying itโ€™s easy or complete scam โ€œyeah just farm ur followersโ€ as if thereโ€™s any logic to this argument if broke people lose money following someone, they run out of money. itโ€™s funny seeing the reaction to the plumber stuff, just max cope in 4k i stopped trading memecoins for almost all of 2026, only started again because ansemโ€™s coin created a wealth event that has made conditions exciting again trading onchain is lame. itโ€™s not sexy. itโ€™s gay to track another grown manโ€™s twitter. but the money is real and if you think only insiders win then explain CashCat or Ansem or Asteroid or MarsCoin or Moltbook or Ore or Binance Life or Aster or whatever the fuck else the dozens of multi 6-7 figure spots there have been over last year but it is a game just like any other meta in crypto. like most gambling games, most people lose, few people win hard and the house always wins. thatโ€™s just how it goes. the moral grandstanding is truly retarded and rooted in the fact that the conditions to make money in crypto today are in fact NOT easy. they couldnโ€™t if they tried, so they wonโ€™t.

bundlegrapers are very obviously bad for the on-chain environment, but it is a result of permissionless blockchains, there is no way to avoid this when it's extremely easy for anyone to launch+trade coins that start at zero complaining about new pairs is silly bc there is still a moat created by good devs+teams *and* there is a real business around facilitating trading these new pairs the ppl trading new pairs trying to turn $10 into $100,000 are aware of the risks that they are taking, if you're not playing this game its like yelling at people for playing slots when they aren't going to listen to you anyway & good devs+teams emerge from the same environment, it's your job as a trader to identify those spots, it's only possible to hit 10,000xs on-chain bc its high risk and the reason new pairs consistently get so much activity is because of this fact, you do not need to trade every $10k market cap coin to identify these spots, out of the tens of thousands of launches daily there's maybe 4-5 a quarter that are worth paying attention to

the ppl getting mad at new entrants obsession with memecoin trading is eerily reminiscent of bitcoin OGs telling us every altcoin is a scam the old man yelling "scam" is right 99% of the time and avoids some zeros but he also misses the handful of 100-1000x plays every cycle

if you werent charting alts vs btc you were a noob lol
I've talked about this so many times. People used to make fun of you if you shared a chart of anything other than Bitcoin that was denominated in USD. "lmfao you're an idiot BTC is the only thing that matters, nobody cares about how many dollars something is" That was the case until FTX came around. FTX was the first exchange to standardize pairing alts with USD at a large scale. From there, it really didn't take long until people started laughing at you for sharing the BTC pair, and any exchange that DIDN'T adjust lost customers and volume as a result. Point being - a lot of people are resistant to changing narratives. And because of that, they sideline themselves. Don't be that person next bull market.

@blknoiz06 Similar thing is happening in AI. As app development gets commoditized, being able to build matters less and the edge moves toward high agency, taste, building something competent, and mastering distribution + reputation.

nah we were getting fucking rugged on mad coins on cryptopia and etherdelta, every altcoin from bittrex days is basically a 0 now, & 2017 crew was all trading bitmex on leverage we had the most aggressive price action out of any bitcoin cycle btc would wick -40% in days then go back to new all time highs in weeks there were a lot of alts that did 100x but most ppl roundtripped bc they didnt stay that way for long & for every coin that went 100x there was some bullshit like monaco & patientory that scammed us ๐Ÿ˜‚

Threadguy says crypto OGs were trading against plumbers and wouldnโ€™t last in todayโ€™s era "Alt season bro? The fabled alt season where every altcoin goes up 20x and it just has to happen this way? 2017 ICOs?โ€ โ€œSome of the best were the best donโ€™t get me wrong. But itโ€™s like, wake up unc, cented owns 60% of the supply and heโ€™s dumping on your headtop. Every new narrative is controlled. The game has evolved.โ€ "The new game is not gonna happen on Twitter. Gone are the days where you have influence just because you've been here for ten years and you're a funny poster.โ€
