$PONS is now a top 10 crypto protocol based on 30d revenue with $24.33M generated.
$19.4M has gone into buybacks in the last 30 days. This puts them fourth out of all crypto protocols for amount spent on buybacks.
1. $HYPE - $61.8M
2. $PUMP - $27.4M
3. $TRX - $24.15M
4. $PONS - $19.4M
5. $STONK - $8.4M
In a market where we're constantly looking for the marginal buyer there is nothing better than owning deflationary tokens which are getting perpetually TWAP'd by protocol revenue.
$PONS launched on 13th July when Bitcoin price was ~$63k.
Since then they have become the dominant launchpad on RH after beating significant competition.
However one hurdle $PONS hasn’t had to deal with is a decline in majors. This will be the next big test.
If we see a $BTC drop of 20%, how will $PONS price and more importantly revenue react?
This is probably the last test $PONS and more importantly RH have in determining if they are here to stay.
If $PONS can continue to pump out solid revenue number (relative to $PUMP) while majors are down there is little stopping them from hitting billions.
$PONS probably breaks out of this triangle soon and pulls another MONSTER rally that will surprise a lot of people
i won't be surprised at all if we see new ATHs
the crazy part is that the fundamentals have only gotten stronger during this entire consolidation
- consistently generating $1M+ in daily revenue for the past two weeks, even while Robinhood chain has been cooling down
- 80% of all protocol revenue continues to buy/burn $PONS, with $2M+ sitting in the buyback wallet on any given day and getting replenished faster than it's exhausted
- 30%+ of the supply has already been permanently burned from protocol revenue, with that number rapidly increasing
- consistently maintaining 75 - 80% of the entire launchpad market share on Robinhood chain
- almost 50% pullback from ATHs despite rapidly improving fundamentals
- annualized, PONS is currently doing $828.58M in fees and $159.05M in revenue while sitting at just a $430M market cap
compare that to $PUMP
$PUMP is doing $1.115B in annualized fees and $460.22M in annualized revenue while trading at a $1.75B market cap
the valuation discrepancy is pretty insane (and even $PUMP is undervalued by crypto standards!)
PONS is already generating a substantial amount of revenue relative to PUMP, yet is valued at a fraction of its market cap
and this is before factoring in what i believe will be accelerating Robinhood chain adoption
if Robinhood chain becomes THE chain of this cycle, PONS is positioned to capture an even larger share of the activity, fees and value flowing through the ecosystem
which is why i objectively see $PONS reaching at least a $5 BILLION circulating market cap at some point this cycle
that's more than 10x from here
and i'm not basing that target on pure speculation
it's based on strong fundamentals, accelerating buybacks/burns, dominant market share and what i expect to be massive growth for Robinhood chain
the market is giving you almost a 50% discount from ATH while the underlying business keeps getting stronger
these are the setups i want to be buying
$PONS still made ~$1M of revenue today Sep 13th
seems like revenue numbers is starting to base out around the 800k-1M range which is very encouraging to see
still early ofc, but given how much attention has been splitting between RH <> SOL eco the past week, im genuinely surprised to see rev holding up this strong
imo market right now is battling between profit takers from buyers way lower vs new entrants trying to price the revenue story. a few more weeks of this revenue and confidence will reflect higher
$PONS
Getting towards an attractive level if you have conviction in RH chain.
50% pullback from highs lines up with a first daily trend retest around the $0.5 level (round number/psychological level)
Good region to watch for a reaction.
$PONS revenue has been pulling back ever since its best ever day of $1.8M just 5 days ago
yesterday's revenue came in just above $1M, with my model est today's numbers to come in right below the mark
impt to note that revenue cannot stay elevated all the time and we need to start seeing it base out and normalize so we can better judge xRev as it settles across the various timeframes 7d/30d etc.
anyone tracking these numbers kinda expected a cooloff that was coming - and in this instance it seems like we are in the midst of one. going back to my revenue durability study, if $PONS is a staying business we will want to see the protocol retest and break its ATH revenue day of 1.8M
a protocol constantly doing that is a durable one, how long it takes and the shape of the decline in revenue is something we can study - will share more of my thoughts on this in another thread
$PONS padshare dominance is near 80%
if you believe RH onchain continues and accelerates from here, then a bid on the revenue leader esp with xRev now at 0.88 is pretty clear to me
price went up in a straight line unabated from 0.1 -> 0.95, surely a pb is to be expected
$PONS is now available via Banxa.
PONS is the native token of @ponsdotfamily, the launchpad platform that allows anyone to deploy or trade tokens on Robinhood Chain.
