It wasn’t an easy way to recover from the injury but I believed in myself to make this happen and will keep working hard to get fit for the games. 【SHINJIRO ATAE 「Lay Me Down」(SAM SMITH cover)】 It has almost been four months since I announced the resumption of my artist activities. Working as an independent artist has been a great learning experience. I have more freedom in setting my own time schedule, which has allowed me to spend a lot of time exploring myself and my creativity. While there are many things I want to sing and express, there are also many other things I want to try out. Sometimes I’ve even felt a little stuck, unsure of where to start. What I decided to do in the end was go back to my basics and embrace my love for music. I decided to sing a few cover songs. These are songs that I love and are important to me. The first song I covered was "Lay Me Down" by SAM SMITH, an artist that I deeply respect. As creators, we are happy when people get a chance to see what we’ve made.
