Unfortunately, the upscaling implementation is broken, with players reporting blurry visuals and poor image quality at any resolution below native across all three upscalers. The update also adds a new 1440p Performance Mode and VRR support for console players. The game is now getting backlash from users saying the new upscalers look surprisingly blurry and aren’t delivering the visual boost they were hoping for.

NEWS: The FCC upheld exclusive rights for established satellite companies in key radio frequencies and rejected applications from SpaceX, Kepler, Sateliot, and AST SpaceMobile. The bands in question (Big LEO at 1.6/2.4 GHz, 2 GHz, and L-band) have long been reserved for traditional satellite phones. Companies like Globalstar and Iridium have invested about 28 billion dollars building systems there. The FCC ruled these lanes stay exclusive to the current owners for now, citing interference risks as satellite-to-phone technology grows. The decision blocks part of SpaceX’s plans to use those same frequencies for independent Starlink direct-to-cell service. Notably, high-download packages such as size-sensor@1.1.4 (4.2M dl/mo), echarts-for-react@3.1.7 (3.8M dl/mo), and @antv/scale@0.6.2 (2.2M dl/mo) are at elevated risk. The attack carries risks: 1. AI agent hijacking: Claude Code, Codex, and VS Code tasks can trigger a Bun bootstrapper that re-executes the malicious payload. 2. Credential harvesting: The malware collects credentials from cloud services, GitHub, npm, local environments, and CI/CD pipelines. Using ^ to specify version ranges may cause npm to automatically install versions that have been compromised or contain security risks.
