The annual summit of the Bucharest Nine took place today in Bucharest The group deals solely with military issues & was created by 9 NATO states near Russia after Moscow’s attack on Ukraine in 2014 This year’s summit was expanded as Ukraine & Nordic-Baltic 8 were also invited. The leaders of these states met today to coordinate their positions ahead of the annual NATO summit, which will take place in Ankara on July 7-8. Zelensky also attended the meeting and initiated new drone technology deals with Bucharest 9 countries. Sadly, Moldova was not represented at the summit.
