He called Steam “a monopoly with very few precedents” and said, “As a developer, I’m completely at their whim.” The game has some nudity and mature themes, but Pedercini says “there’s no intercourse on screen.” He removed the nudity by clothing the sex worker and sexbot, yet Steam still rejected it.
