Agentic AI is entering its compounding era. As agents become more capable, the market for autonomous workflows could expand fast. What’s the killer use case?
Agentic token usage on OpenRouter reached 7.3T on a 7-day average by Aug. 10, up 14x from Feb. 6. Human token usage rose from 0.5T to 1.4T over the same period, up 2.8x.
Agentic AI has been the most liberating experience I've ever had with productivity technology in my life. It has changed everything for me. I have automated every part of my job I hated, and I have far more time to do the things that I actually love -- the reason I'm actually doing what I'm doing. No more ball and chain. Once you're in it, the high is insane, and you just keep thinking of more and more things you're able to do as you get deeper down the rabbithole. Automate this, automate that. The vibe is: "oh, now I have a massive soup of data growing and growing, and a genie sitting on top of it who can suck it all in and grant me unlimited wishes." I have done this for myself using Claude Code, but Palantir can take the little tiny world I've built for my own job and scale it to the entire enterprise. The power is insane. Anyone who adopts this stuff will absolutely run circles around anyone who doesn't. It really is existential. That's how big of a deal you realize it is after you've gotten a glimpse of it.

"Agentic Commerce Needs Legal Infrastructure: A Case Study on Midnight City" I just made a LinkedIn post about a document that really caught my interest. Over the past few days I've been working with Luciano Oliva Bianco on one of the least discussed and most urgent problems in agentic commerce: what happens legally when two AI agents negotiate and close a transaction with no human in the loop? In "Agentic Commerce Needs Legal Infrastructure: A Case Study on Midnight City," we explore how the Legal Context Protocol (LCP) can give these transactions something they don't have today: a verifiable cryptographic record of the agreed terms, bound to the payment, and auditable afterward by either party, a court, or a regulator. The piece covers three areas: The legal diagnosis: which existing doctrines (ratification, consumer protection, liability cascades) are already poorly suited to a world of agents acting at machine scale. A framework of our own, the "Trust in Depth Framework," proposing layers of human identity, entity attestation, agreement integrity, and agent authorization. A concrete technical roadmap for implementing this on Midnight, leveraging its privacy architecture (selective disclosure, on chain settlement). One thing that mattered to me in closing the analysis: not everything cuts one way. We added a final section dedicated to the real limits and risks of the approach, including that "provable" is not the same as "enforceable," that standard adoption is never guaranteed, and that jurisdiction by jurisdiction regulatory uncertainty is real. A technical legal analysis is only useful if it's also willing to say where it can fail. If you work in compliance, Web3, or agentic commerce, I'd love to hear your take. #AgenticCommerce# #Web3# #LegalTech# #Midnight# #Compliance#

Agentic AI systems are creating an explosion of non-human identities, many of them over-privileged and secured with static credentials. That combination introduces new risks, from credential leakage to unauthorized access at machine speed. In this webinar, HashiCorp and AWS experts Nicholas Jackson, David Mills, and Nic Gumina will discuss: • Why traditional IAM and perimeter security struggle in agentic architectures • How dynamic, short-lived credentials reduce risk • What identity-first security looks like for autonomous agents • How to apply zero trust principles across modern AI systems Register today:
