ALEX COOPER’S UNWELL VALUED AT $500M Unwell, the media company founded by married couple Alex Cooper & Matt Kaplan, has raised its 1st outside investment from Patrick Whitesell’s WTSL. It has been profitable since launch and reaches 70M women monthly. Built around Cooper’s flagship “Call Her Daddy” podcast, which has a SiriusXM deal worth up to $125M over three years. The company has since expanded into streaming shows, YouTube, live events and consumer products. Cooper and Kaplan remain majority owners.
