Satish Salian, father of late Disha Salian, has sent a legal notice to Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray and former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh, seeking ₹500 crore in damages for alleged defamation. The notice, issued through advocate Anushka Sonawane, seeks an unconditional public apology and alleges that statements made by the two leaders falsely portrayed Salian’s legal pursuit for an investigation into his daughter’s death as politically motivated.
