Today, a major win for justice.   The D.C. Circuit ruled that Abu Khatallah's 28-year sentence for his role in the 2012 Benghazi attack was too lenient and sent the case back for resentencing. This decision affirms that sentences must reflect the seriousness of terrorism offenses and ensures greater accountability for those who attack Americans.   Another important victory for my office and for the pursuit of justice.
